Treebark? Moss? You could do the Naughty dog art test in unreal too! =] I would go that route instead, especially if you want to show it in real time. Plus, VP is more flexible in unreal.
ok guys just need to build production lighting and make some tweaks with lut and im done, been working on an art test so only really managed to add clouds today, went for a swirly look.

And here is my latest project. Gonna do the Arenanet character art test for fun because the concept looked cool and challenging. Most of the pieces are blocked in, haven't added smaller details yet. After that it's zbrush time.
My Maya to Max transition maybe took 2 days with the 3dbuzz tutorials, I did that for an art test. Skill is software independant, modeling is the same in all apps they just have extra things that make it easier.
The Splash Damage building art test is showing texture stretching on the bricks, that's a big no no for an environment, espically when thats right in the viewer's face. The site is pretty cool and easy to navigate, you are deffo' set up on that front.
Heh, not only that, but anyone else who is competing for this job on this forum is watching and taking notes. You're not the only one they sent the art test to you know. I'm sure plenty of people at the company use these forums as well.
@jogshy Do you have a tutorial showing how can i export the "projection modifier" of my low poly as a cage ? I'm doing an art test for a big studio.
