Working on this sculpt based off a concept by the glorious Su Yeong Kim https://www.artstation.com/artwork/w8GoZ9 Copying the the shapes was easy using the concept art, the challenge i'm facing is the teeth and gums area, and making the front view attractive, though i'm 99% sure the fine render will be only of the side.
Hi! Because i love Unreal Tournament, i modelled the Classic Flak Canon from UT 99. I know that there are missing some details like the Ammo Display or Details on the magazine. Maybe i will bringt this to the end. Please tell me what you think (Pictures made in the DDO Previewer):
Not meant for game art use, but it's interesting tech that could be adapted for such. I wish for a cloth sim that recognizes overlapping geo so for example hard armor on cloth with folds and creases that reflect that. $99 for non commercial, otherwise $699. http://www.marvelousdesigner.com/Marvelous/Default.aspx…
It's the binormal option. I usually leave it off for what I am doing 99% of the time atm. I dunno how much of a difference it makes to anything, but my thinking has been just let marmoset/substance/unreal recalculate them as they all use the same tangent space, so hopefully it's all matching in engine at the end
Manually change it back to tangent wrap, as you change it to texture now everytime you want to paint on UVs. I think this would be really useful, I 99% never would want to use another mode when painting over UVs
i rly like colors. Very good overall looking. But it is too much detailed- For LoL u can freely cut off 50%of details. As 99% of all entries to this contest))) can't understand why people create so hardreading characters.
I float small details 99% of the time here at work. No time to model it all in. After your pretty art asset is crunched down to a 1024 or smaller you'll NEVER see a difference between floating detail and non floating detail anyways.
Worse. 99 is four-twenties, ten, nine. Dutch is weird too. 222 becomes two hundred , two, and twenty. English is mostly okay though, just eleven through nineteen are weird. The absolute worst, though, is classic roman. MMXII, WTF?
Yep, what EQ said. I know for a fact they did this on Battlefield Bad Company since it was in one of their developer papers. They just had an "Uber Shader" which could do 99% of what you'd ever want and it seemed to work pretty well.
TRY IT. Do something and show us your results, we'll give you feedback. Don't bump your (already quite lazy) thread with needy requests for spoon-fed information. 99% of these kinds of questions can be solved by some easy googling.
