Hi very new to SDK and have an issue with diagonal shadows casting onto my scene when I turn on Very High Config Spec, it seems to follow where ever my camera moves too. Any ideas on how to turn it off?
Hey guys, I've just finished my latest personal work and wanted to show it to you, hope you guys like it :D I included all the model specs as well ! Have a great weekend. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/lP4NG
I got that with the panels. Do you think 1440p at the Asus is OK or should i get something in 4k? I like the high refresh rate and color specs, but a similat model in 32" 4k would be 300€ more.
your texturing of the large parts, ie the barrel and tripod are needlessly noisy IMO. They really just wouldn't look like that. I'd stick to a pretty homogenous looking colormap and use more of the noisy values in the spec map.
I don't think that Marmoset 2 supports vertex color (YET?), I had to create some quick UVs in Zbrush and bake the polypaint information for all my textures (diffuse, spec, roughness, detail normal).
Hi Owers, Popped into shader forge and manipulated one of the example shaders to include diffuse, normal and a value for the spec. Seam still apparent, would you mind sharing the custom shader attributes you've used? Cheers,
ah man shes coming along!! workin on textures now, need to polish them up add a spec then add all the writing to the tire wall :) Please let me know what yall think :D
Looking good so far. I feel the spec maps could use a bit of work though. right now the reflection distribution is a bit too even and soft making the arm look a bit like plastic.
Looking really cool! I think you captured the overall feel of the gun really good. Like s6 said it would be really nice with some spec on those HP shots! Looking forward to seeing more :)
