The only issue I typically have is texture related alpha clipping in the viewport. Various driver updates and sp2 got rid of the problem of random mesh transparency with more than 50k tris in a scene. I got the uv snapping bug once, but a reboot quickly fixed that.
I've only had viewport lag due to my own stupidity.
got only 2 crashes since 2014 release while using it ~8 - 10 hours a day so at least for me its not a lot.
was working recently on a clients hp elitebook (some kind of i7 cpu i guess, mobile quadro 3000, 8 gb ram) maya was crashing like hell...never was in the mood to figure it out why...just brought my own hardware to work the next day.

Don't run into any issues. Mainly spend time doing scripting/playing with shaders nowadays. Running Maya 2012.

No issues recently except when I accidently tried to render out 149 million polys.
