You have some cool hand drawn stuff. In order to make it look better, I think you should "passepartout" them. I can see that you erased the background from some of them, but IMO the paper texture can do a lot to enrichen a drawing. And do some color correcion on those. They look a bit washed and they're TOO big. I'm on a…
I've been playing around with various sweepline algorithms for finding 2d polygon intersections, and everyone I've tried has missed an intersection or two/three/four.... but there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason (not that i've found to date) as to why e.g. ..... is it an elegant but ultimately failed solution ?…
Hi there, in every tutorial as soon as they turn on edit topology on a z-sphere the vertices show as small squares, but when I try it only shows the edges, does anyone know why this is occurring? My model Model from the tutorial
I used to a firm advocate of “learning for yourself”. By which I mean, I spent most of my time learning through trial and error. For example, If I didn’t know why a bake was turning out correctly. I would adjust what I know, do some reading and apply it. If that didn’t work, then repeat. Pre 2017 I rarely asked questions…
Im hoping someone can help me here please? Basically I am working on handpainting some assets to go into a level for my final college project. I have been happily painting away with many textures and getting everything to a sketchy feel. I got a bit impatient on one particular asset and decided to see what it looked like…
How do you know when to keep geometry separate and when to connect it to each other, even when you know it's going to have to be done by adding additional triangles? I'm working on a medieval lantern. I have been separating certain parts based on how it would be in real life. E.g. the candle and the chain holding the…
uh why dont you copy and paste the chamfer with desired settings.. pasting it with all objects selected (it works like instance then) or just paste individually per mesh and change settings to your desire without having to reduce segments.
Why you no comment... it has its fair share of problems... :poly116: Ok, so I've solved the baking issues in post #23... but I need suggestions guys. Take a look at the definition this guy achieves out of his bake on the slide serrations: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1698194&postcount=10 Why can't I seem…
