I did this character for the Ancient Civilizations challenge on Artstation. Wanted to share (and get some critique! hard to get on Artstation )To keep it short, here you go. Concept art by Martney Martle, artstation page here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/vXRXv I have a marmoset viewer that Im not quite sure how to…
So I see in maya 2011 they have finally added the connect tool from max by default, but I can't see it anywhere in the context sensitive menu's, am I missing it our did they just leave it out making it an inconsistent workflow. Better yet anyone know how to easily add new entries to the context sensitive menu's they should…
Ok so i did a new high poly head today for fun and to practice working with edge loops a bit more, i would say i spent about 4-5 hours on it total and the model itself is pretty much done except for some inner mouth stuff i might add. Its based off of elisha cuthbert but my goal isnt to get a perfect likeness of her.
Hello Polycount! I decided to make a sci fi scene and post my progress here as well as some questions. The goal here is to learn UE4, PBR, modular workflow and try to use one texture for whole scene. I started with a simple blockout of what I had in mind but it's getting harder to add details. This is a little overpaint…
Personal project I did based on a painting by Daniel F. Gerhartz. It not a copy but my vision of the area after decades pasted and storms, etc. affected the area. Some fun and something Forrest theme and organic to add to my portfolio. ANY and ALL feedback is welcomed! I am trying to get better to get a salary base Game…
Hello, I'm going to create a new skin for volibear, which is one of my favourite hero who didn't have much skin. This will be my rough concept which I did a paintover on an image of the original skin found on internet. He will be a fishmonger who loves and sells fish. Might add in some assets when start the modeling…
When did they add this? Was it announced? Basically, this checkbox called "Use Windows Ink" under the calibrate menu.. gets rid of ALL OF THE RIPPLES without having to change a single setting in windows! WUT! MIND BLOWN! Please tell me I am not the only one who didn't know about this! :poly127: :) I can't remember the last…
Bal: sofar everything is baked down and relaively unique with some reuse. Did some mockups on the main doors, just a rough animation of what I had in mind. Looks a bit boring after looking at i for awhile, need to add more cool stuff going on. Also gif is double the speed for some reason, I cant gif!
GHOSTBLADES There's nothing really unusual I did to the lighting/models. I just modeled, hardened the proper edges to get good flat surfaces, and textured. For the lighting, it's just a directional light and a skylight to add ambient light. Also you have to make sure you textures are sharp and not too dark, else the…
No. DDo is for making diffuse (and some other) maps quickly. You can use your baked maps/mesh in it. NDo is for making only normal maps. You can load your baked normalmap into it and you can add more details, or you can make one from scratch. One can totally work without the another.
