nice! i'd say darken the roof, lighten the stones, add more shadows. everything's a little washed out right now, which makes it difficult to read. separating the elements with different values will help: quick paintover: upped the contrast, darkened a few spots, upped the saturation: good work! keep it up!
Hey guys, I'm taking a level design class this term, and was curious about what kind of things you guys look for in certain types of gameplay. We're using the UT3 engine, so I was leaning towards a Vehicle Capture the Flag or a basic deathmatch. So what elements do you guys like and dislike in those type of game modes?

Hi, When Unwrapping UV's sometimes its good to share similar areas of the model with same UV space. Bearing this in mind, can I get away with this for creating AO and Normal Maps, or do I have to unwrap the model and designate it's elements to their own unique UV space? Could Anyone clarify this for me? Thanks a bunch!…
Hi! Some good points already raised. I think currently the models clash a bit: Some are lowpoly/facetted (weapons), others smooth (anvil, wall), pedestal has smooth curvature + hard edges. Finding an artstyle to use as guide could help to keep everything visually consistent. Agree with hwaminjung about setting the scope…
Hi there, I'm Vince, I'm a recent grad and this is my update on my previous posts on a Panzer IV, one of the earlier versions from during the war. I did take some trim and hardware elements from the later ones because I had taken real world reference from the Romanian Military Museum where they have one on their lot.
This concept was borne from an idea of a father being tired and shaving whilst half asleep, i then wanted to include a 2nd element of a kid in the background and at first he was going to be imitating his fathers facial expressions whilst shaving. This all changed and went through various iterations until i arrived at this…
I dig up this project from his grave and take off the dust from it to give you an interactive turnable (there is some issues with the alphas :/ : SuaekAmenek (click to view in 3D) P.S: If an animator/rigger is interested to animate it I may send the element by mail ;) You may take a look to the entire project by following…
I don't have a story yet but I'm pretty set on this idea, which is an Ogre who is the protector of a village in Ethiopia of this tribe. I saw the pictures of some tribes and noticed that they're all quite modernized with AK-47s and other machine rifles so I want to combine something fantasy in todays time with modern…
Hi guys, I was wondering if you know a way in maya to separate a mesh into poly shells. In 3ds max there is soulburn scripts which will allow me to select a mesh and run the script, it will then separate a single mesh into multiple elements (shells) provided they exist within the same mesh. if any of you know a script for…
