I'm pretty decent at modeling, but I can't seem to get the unwrap tool down. Whenever I unwrap an object I make all the pieces really big. Do they need to be big? I guess I would like advice on how to unwrap and texture properly. An easy to follow website or tutorial would be great. Thank You

Does anyone have any good links on creating a tileable animated water texture in maya? the end product needs to be useable on a mobile platform, so something that can be exported as an image sequence would be best. Most information i can find only yields water caustics, i need something more like a flowing stream
