One of the guys from work rigged up a couple of classic Nintendo controllers with wireless gizmos compatible with the Wii. Pretty neat stuff http://www.engadget.com/2007/02/21/modded-nes-and-snes-controllers-work-wirelessly-with-wii/
Hey everyone, I’m looking to put together a small team to build a free Five Nights at Freddy’s fan game. This is an unpaid passion project for building portfolios, gaining game dev experience, and making something genuinely creepy. The Game: I am keeping the exact setting and lore under wraps to prevent the idea from being…
Hi! I'm a rigging technical artist based out of the US looking to join your next project! I have experience in building rigs for both Unity and Unreal game engines. Be it characters or creatures, my experience in working on cross-functional teams allows me to bridge the gap between art and programming. I have worked on a…
Biped is a fairly closed system that can animate bipedal characters, it has some support for quadrupeds but there are other tools that are much better and more flexible. Biped is rock solid because it operates inside of a set range of parameters. It knows what it can do and refuses to do anything it can't. It is also…
Hello polycount(ers)! I'm interested in knowing a bit more about typical graphics specs for Wii and I thought this would be a good place to ask. I realize a lot of this is game specific but if anyone could give me just a rough idea that'd be great. Stuff like this: 1: Typical tri count for a "secondary" character, let's…

Working on a more complex project, to try to improve my skills in models with complex mechanisms and to evolve my rig. The goal is to create a combat tractor for all terrains. Rig and animate it as best I can.
Upload to Mixamo, automatic rig it, test the deformation, export the rig, import in maya, check the weight of the automatic rig. I did this and it was a big help to understand how to paint them.
There’s not much of a difference in both. In technical terms yes, but I highly recommend the 4080 or 4080 Super over the 4090 simply because of one big reason. The 4090 has a realizability issue with the power connector which can get overheated and melt. It’s also not worth extra money for more performance. For a computer…
pretty nice model man, clean modeling except that one tri in the shoulder region *might* give you deformation issus>? I`ve always ween told to avoid tris in high deformation areas. In theory it makes sense to but I`ve never tried to rig a joint that has a tri, so it might not be that big of a deal at the end of the day. I…
