Tomorrow? Heh! Seriously we ought to have a sketch club meet one day in Seattle. I never once made one of those sketch jams in Dallas, but what the hell, I live near Dallas and I can't be buggered to drive to Quakecon much less a sketch session. But to go to Seattle, for an impromtu sketching session, drinking bookstore…
Subdivision sketch: non-locking accessory carabiner. Just a simple modeling exercise. None of the internal spring components need to be modeled. Consistent loop distribution to maintain surface quality. Basic boolean block out. All the geometry is generated by simple mesh shapes and non-destructive modifiers. Most of the…
Welcome to my online sketchbook! In this thread I'll post my sketches and digital paintings. I haven't drawn in ages, but I hope to update it often with new work, to reactivate myself a bit. Looking for simple black and white sketches. Must have a strong sense of depicting perspective and depth. Must be able to lean into horror-ish overtones.
Anyone know of a good source for instruction, in book form or video form or website that really teaches good technique for cross hatch sketching with various leads. After seeing some really inspiring pieces recently, I've been doing more of it lately when I just sketch, but I'm looking to develop it more. Any info or links…

I know this is totally last-minute, but it's open 10 am to 3 pm today, Sunday. And I'm itching to get my sketch on. Plus it'd be neat to meet some Polycounters. We could grab a drink or some…
