Hey Guys, So this is the Grand Father Clock made for Dekogon Studios and it is about 4k polys ( 7k tris) I really went out of my comfort zone on this one and it was definetly challenging but overall I am happy of how it turned out and Very happy I finished it XD Here is my Artstation project with some breakdowns and the…
OH! Man, I'm so sorry, I totally misread your post on that first model, I could swear it was a low poly with a normal map applied, don't know why. Now having in mind that it's purely the low poly model with the smoothing groups all messed up makes the whole thing much clearer. There's nothing wrong with the model, but you…
Hey everyone. First time posting here. I am gonna be working on this small environment-diorama based on the concept art by Zimmy called "Clock Car" (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/481ERn) This will be my first time doing a proper environemnt scene for UE4 (maybe for both UE4 and Marmoset Toolbag). I want to do a full…
I am more of a future 3D artist than an active one, as I only have enough practice to work my 3D program of choice. I have a handful of models under my belt. I will eventually be making my own models for any 3D video game projects I start, and have already made scripts for exporting 3D models from Blender 3D as my own…
Hey guys! Like a few others, I'm jumping in on the Retrogasm competition, and will be working on Jennifer Simpson from the Clock Tower: The First Fear game. I'm not as confident with realistic characters, so any advice or suggestions along the way would be very appreciated. I won't be following the concepts as much as I'll…
Hello everyone! I would like to announce that we’ve finally completed our final year project film! I haven’t updated this thread in a while since we were fully focused on production and polishing for submission, but I wanted to share the final result along with some behind-the-scenes progress. Huge thanks to everyone…
I agree with what the others have said here, it's not a bad start but to really give this place more visual interest you should probably come up with a few more creative design pieces. Apart from the antler stand (is that thing it's holding a sword?) almost all the props seem to be "blocky" in nature, like a simple cube or…
So I've been pondering working environments lately it seems to boil down to 2 or 3 types (possibly more)? ROWE or Results Oriented Work Environment The hours are flexible it doesn't matter when or where the work gets done as long as it is finished on time and up to standard. Clock Punching Your traditional work day/week…
The cloak looks really low rez, I'd try to repeat the hair and do what ever you can to give the clock more uv space. The front bangs of the hair looks like its having issues.
