Love this dude! I like the new hand position, perhaps you could push the arcs/angles of his left hand a bit more to show the pressure being put on it- my 2cents. Great work!
Top color scheme is nice, except for every bolt beeing black...pretty much stabs my eyes. The orange bits stick out to much also, maybe desaturate em a bit. Just my 2cents.
anything outside first person , require main character to be seen animated, to be like by gamer constantly in 10-30 hours of gameplay. this is what most developer and publisher too lazy to work around with it ... my blatant 2cent :)
This turned out great! Congrats. 2cents.....the fire pit would be stronger just being one log surrounded by darker coals with hot embers. There is insufficient contrast between the rocks and the wood; it's all just blending together.
The key to modeling women is mostly just subtleties. The reason why men are easier are mostly that you can just add wrinkles and hard edges and they "get cooler" and it adds character yet with women it is the opposite. my 2cents at least
Nice looking work. I would play a little with the eyes, maybe go away from normal and more towards sickly, like the eyes of the "worlds ugliest" (now deceased) dog, or a blind animals eyes. That's my 2cents.
Wow very cool stuff,i like the Voldemort sculpt, girl is looking great, though if she's wearing armor on her legs they look kinda too thin from front and back view, just my 2cents,keep going!!
I cant speak for the admins, but historically polycount has been less focused on "contests" and more on "challenges." Things that promote community and growth as opposed to slaughter and victory over our own :) my 2cents :) besides, just make art, who needs contests! :)
Sometimes before blocking out, it helps me to stick the concept onto a plane with a uvmap adjusted against the perspective/angle of the concept, instead of a plain background image. Still not an easy way out, but helps a little if an angled picture is all you're given. 2cents
Maybe it's just me, but my eyes are constantly drawn to the harsh texture of the roof. The scene overall has a softer "blocky" feel to it, except for that part. It's hard not to focus on it. Seems a bit harsh/pointy and a bit too perfectly tiled. My 2cents. awesome stuff though.
