I think your progress from your first version of the sofa to the 2nd is huge! Same with the fireplace - it really shows that practice makes perfect :) The materials are now looking much better - keep it up - I'm loving this.
Thanks rick, yet still very work in progress, cant wait to put lots more props into that and hope engine can handle a little more. 2nd piece in my Machina&Magic Concept art series:
It's kind of a little too late for that option. I have to build for finish building a 100 K triangle environment for school also none of the threads represent me currently except the 2nd last stuff in the sketchbook thread.
The 2nd guy looks like typical "super hero" or hulk proportions, it really depends on what the artists is going for, they both look good, but the upper body does look kinda small (in the original), those legs are massive.
OH snap! That sounds amazing! Kk, here's a few more: 2nd person Sword Thrower. Dodgeball with Super Mario Powers. Polycount: The Game: (An RPG as a Freelance 3D artist.. sorta like Game Dev Story).
Thanks ParoXum - You're right about the 2nd UV set in CryEngine. It uses vertex colors which i have baked down on a different version. (Still felt compelled to make the AO pass for my renders :) )
Been having a lot of fun playing it. Insane mode is the way to go. On the first level you have every kind of alien thrown your way already! Even the 2nd hardest mode (Hard) isn't like that.
HAHAHA...I can't believe he said it. Whole theater was applauding. I was nearly in tears. The movie was somewhat of a disappointment compared to the 2nd, but better than the 1st. Overall, a good movie experience. ...still can't believe it.
some cool stuff, im liking the 2nd image most.. sorry for sounding blunt but I'm not touching DA when I've got polycount :) . why not youtube the gameplay video, then you can embed videos in the thread
