I like them, more going on than in the old games, better lighting, I can even see normalmaps , a bit lowres but still enough. I also like the idea of them drawing cutscenes. Like rage said, good old hitman with better graphics. We will see what they add to the game itself. -

Yeah, I wish we had more character renders, but the book was made waaaaay after the fact, most of the team was on to....other projects, and it was a bit of a headache to find old assets. CE3 - Entombed Gold
Hey guys, time to delve in Cryengine 3 even further. So im taking it outdoors! Based on Egyptian/ slightly Mayan architecture. This is the Temple Entrance, with a puzzle mechanism to open up the main door. The Doorway leads through to a Booby Trapped/Puzzle walkway and then onto the Tomb! of course containing gooOOLD...… -

I don't understand. It looks like an ocean. With waves. My eyes are pretty untrained - mainly because I don't live near oceans, but it looks like a regular old ocean. Well done, but a regular old ocean... When I hear the words "Stylized Waves" I automatically think of this or this. -

Besides looking at baking with mental Ray.. maybe dissecting these two old convert to file scripts might give you some ideas? Download copyConvertSolidTx.mel and performConvertSolidTx.mel ( not sure if they still work ) old school: The original Gamasutra article circa 2001:… -

always patching that 15 year old software ;) I really hope they make some progress on their XBR stuff because max is aging very fast and almost getting to old. I know that they improved some stuff in regards of UV in 2012 but I think this was not part of it (haven't checked it yet out). -

So, all the old links are now broken? None of the ones in my signature work for me, which is worrying as I am sure plenty of old threads with valuable info in them are now going to be pretty hard to navigate between... And most importantly, the smileys!! won't someone please think of the smileys!!!! -

Haftoof : there is no more old client anymore (besides Dota2Test, which is still available for download but doesn't allow for submissions), and no way to submit items at the present time. Unless you have auto-updates disabled, the old game files got deleted (on my end it happened sometime during the day yesterday). -
Re: texture transform tool
There was only one problematic thing for me in old TexRipper. When I was working with high res photos, image popping up after selection was covering all my screen, and could not be moved more than half of the screen. Resizing it was changing output texture too. Is there any solution for that in old TexRipper?
