If 2048 is rediculous for a dumpster, then what about 1024. I model everything in inches, and consider a 512x512 good for about 8ft x 8ft, so maybe 1024 isn't so bad for this dumpster since we would be talking cubic feet. I think my original 512 was a little too low, and thus looked bad. I may give this another shot soon. -

I don't see the reason for the hate on the Green Lantern. I enjoyed it. It wasn't the best movie out there, but it was still a good flick, and I look forward to a second one. I wonder if those who are nit picking at this, also nit pick every other movie. Sure there were flaws, but I don't go to movies looking for lighting… -

yeah my plan is to start exercising again. I used to run 8 miles a day when I was training to join the army. I could n't run 1 mile now. Unfortunately working in vid games does n't help as I am sat on my arse all day long. And I might feel slightly ridiculous running at my current weight which nearly 17 stone:) -
Compressing Reel for web viewing
What's the best format, compressor, video size and file size to shoot for when putting a demo reel on the 'net? I see some vids that are 2 mins long, larger than 320x240 and load up in seconds and don't look too compressed. When using sorenson3 compressor and going to 320x240 the only way I can get the file size pretty low… -

I can attest to the Wacom driver suddenly not working anymore. It happened all of the time at one of my jobs using an Intuos3. Work in real size Units. Set your Units to CM Character Height is usually approx 6ft. 6ft = 182.88cm Model everything in accordance to this scale. You know for example, if something is "waist height" itll be 3-4 foot high. If a rooms ceiling is 12ft or 2 people high, then work out a 2 storey building to be 24/25ft with… -
