Hi all, got an update here! Lately I've been thinking about my works so far, looking at my old stuff and reviewing them. It's been a couple of months since I started this practice regime thing, and I think I managed to improve a little - though not as fast as I would have liked. I know that improving takes time and all, I…
Serioulsy do you even listen to NPR or do you just drink the conservative kool-aid? You're so far off your nut its not even funny. What he said was, they should of cut out federal funds from their budget a long time ago. That's a far cry from "can't do without". The instability of "will the republicans cut funding or not"…
Cool, you found a way to fix the seam. Is this the regular UV set? A better way to handle this would be to mirror the left/right side, or use a non-square texture.
Battlefield Hardline Fan Art -The bright blue/purple background in the Battlefield Hardline Fan Art is pretty distracting and hurting the image. - You should change the grey background to a purple-ish hue (to add harmony to the color of the image) - The purple light is pretty cool, but is a bit too saturated - the tile…
I'm having an issue with the lighting. Lights don't affect the scene at all. If I put in a spotlight, there is no change. Usually the scene goes dark and one spot is lit up but there is no change in the scene or the render. The same goes for all other lights. I'm using max 2012 with mental ray render. Can I get some help…
Welcome! This is looking very nice and is certainly a step in the right direction. My biggest thoughts aren't on the texture but on the lighting. If you planned this to be just a plane as far as geometry, the light source doesn't seem to be evident. The bottom left square doesn't seem to have any lighting at all while all…
The one on the left is the one I use for the texture, UVchannel 0. The one on the right is automatically made by the engine I assume, is this something I should do by hand? and if so how?
Looking cool Adam, pacing feels a bit even but poses are reading well. One note on the green guy is that he feels locked to center frame, maybe he could land slightly to the left or right to add a bit more variety. Looking forward to the updates.
suburbum: Always a pleasure to rant you off to slumber :D Timmywithag: Haha you're too early, dude! I only just begun my career. Seriously, thanks though. I'm always flattered when someone tells me I've done something to inspire them. The rush from that has to be one of the most rewarding things in life. premium: Shine on…
