Good Inprovement in basic shapes and distribution of polies, but the over all proportions are odd. Before I go 9in depth, is this model supposed to be somewhat cartoony, or more realistic? Scott
I applaud whoever gave the green light to go with this kind of visual style. In a genre FLOODED with games that try to be "realistic", TF2 will stand out, simply because of how it looks.
I like the atmosphere and lighting on this new realistic take. Is it not possible to get that sort of lighting and atmosphere into the toon version cause it was kinda cool? Either way it looks good now.
Working on this original concept. Planning on doing a semi-realistic version. Feathers I'm going to place cards, and generate the feathers in substance designer, and probably paint a gradient in the emissive map to make the glow at the roots. Thinking about rendering in UE5 for the emissive lighting

Hi, we´re looking for a 3d/enviroment artist to work on a few sets of rocks for a large terrain. PBR workflow - the result should be realistic. This is our project : http://www.indiedb.com/games/pantropy Looking forward to your mails! Best, Sebastian
I'm developing this game http://battleshipcommander.blogspot.it/. It will be a sandbox game with realistic physic, detailed combat and ship customization. I need a modeler that will create mainly spaceships. The format used for models is OGRE .mesh. If you are interested send me a PM.
I would like to recreate this image in 3d but am unsure how to create this texture realistically in Maya. I am using the a bump and colour map of sand to try and reproduce the effect. What source material should I be using for this?
So here is the Goku i am working on. I wanted to go for a different style to the anime, something a bit more realistic but still cartoonish. Anatomy will be getting a bit more love then clothing. What do you all think?
This fantasy crap is really getting on my nerves. Theyre all the same. Does anyone know of any true medieval mmorpgs? They don't have to be pure, I consider lord of the rings to be a light touch of fantasy because the armors and cities are generally realistic. thanks
