Everything with a polygon in the video was hand forged in Blender: http://www.blendernation.com/2016/05/03/warhammer-40k-inquisitior-martyr-destruction-trailer/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2TvGQ6TzjQ
There's a feature in Maya that I miss in Max. Locking polygons, or Feeze, in place as you work on other portions of the model. Does Maya have a freeze option in it?
It's finished and I probably won't be making changes to it. Just wanted to pimp. It's 6849 polygons total and 39 texures no bigger than 128x128 totalling 495kb. Render is with Maya's default crap renderer.
I started to use again 3D Max, but this time, i will stick with it. Here is my problem for now. http://postimg.org/image/g1e8bw4fz/ Black polygon, How to fix it? I tried with Normal modifier but it is still there
Does anyone have advice on creating clouds that appear volumetric with the use of polygonal planes and 2D textures? I've found loads of cloud techniques using particle and fluids but I'm looking for a way to create clouds without those.
im looking for a quickish way to flatten an object in the same way that roadkill or relax flattens the uvs, ie tries to keep the same shape ratio for polygons as the 3d model in 2d any ideas? cheers!
Hey guys! Please tell me what you think about my new model. Overall i am pretty satisfied with it. Just not sure about render images. The model is about 3000 polygons. model
