I guess we could be talking semantics here. In 2015, a bug (MAYA-144) whereby new faces resulting from Edit Mesh > Bevel has been fixed. But you prefer to have the default lambert applied regardless of any neighbouring specific materials? I tried some tests in 2014 and all new faces from bevels had the default lambert… -
