hi All I`ve recently upgraded from Maya 2010 to 2013 and I`m getting complete system freezes when working using our game engine shaders. I`ve tried the same scene on another PC and it runs fine, and it also works with standard maya or vray shaders. I have installed the latest nvidia drivers, gone though my system, bios,etc…
So i just got Maya LT 2016 the other day and noticed after watching some tutorials A LOT HAS CHANGED! most changes i could deal with but cant get Shader FX to work... Any ideas?:poly118: It is not a option in Hypershade and does nothing when i click SFX in the Shading tab. And does Maya LT 2016 have toon shader?

You know i tried it, but it was a bit too glitchy for me. the sensitivity for the pen pressure wasnt correct. I thought it was something on my computer but when i switched to 2015 it worked fine. Also the retopologize function in 2016 was crashing my computer way too much compared to the 2015 version. Until 2016 comes out…
Unfortunately the one click aspect wouldn't be possible without the "Auto Seams" command that was recently promoted from Bonus Tools to regular Maya. I only tested it Maya 2017 and 2018 but I could try to make it work in 2016 as well.
