I've got a lot of work to sort through for a new portfolio so I figured I'd do an art dump of Pirate101 art and get some feedback. Wires & flats will come later! I posted this on my facebook so I'm sorry if this is old news!
maybe not super impressive but these are my first real sculpt and bake assets. Unfortunately they are super low poly with tiny textures, 128x128 I think.
Most of it is for Pirate101, there may be a few Wizard101 pieces and maybe miscellaneous other games; I may have some stuff from the canceled Warhammer Online Vampire Counts expansion as well, weee!
Because I'm super lazy, a lot of these screenshots are straight out of my dailies folder that I backed up.
I love, literally all of this, in particular the shark is fantastic with his little rosey cheeks
Thanks, the shark had no concept just the name "Not So Great White Shark" and the requirement that it had to fit on the existing shark rig. I pretty much had free reign on a few pieces which was fun.
I've added a few more pieces, the yetis are my most recent work for Arcane Legends, a mobile MMO. My first real experience with sculpting and baking work flow.
I apologize for some pics that look a bit janky, I will go back and take actual nice shots of things when I'm preparing a new portfolio. I just felt like I haven't shown any art here for a long time along with some recent events that made me lose some faith in my own artistic abilities, I think it's coming back though.
