Men of War are made from ground up by Ukranian developers Best Way. Germany still has Daedalic and those guys who made Venetica and now are making this Dark Souls game which is produced by the former CD Projekt RED producer, I forgot the title but it's pretty known.
It's a mix of fantastical sci-fi and fantasy which to me is the best kind, as it blends the technology which makes sci-fi so exciting, but taken to visual and material extremes, and the fantasy mood which speaks to the soul. Star Wars isn't very far off really. Technology mixed with mysticism.
That's some great hard surface stuff you've got there! Love the ATST, it really tells the story of how many battles it has seen and stuff. It's a long way from the pearly white Imperial vehicles from Star Wars that look as mint as the Rock's teeth. A bit WH4000-ish in that regard.

I was thinking volumetric sims, but those are resource intensive and I don't know a lot about…

I would like to avoid physics simulations, but at same time I would like to get some of variation in destruction depending from with…

Hey, I have kind of a specific task. I have to remove any overlap/interpenetrating geometry from a fairly complex model. Is there any way in Maya to highlight which vertices sit inside of the volume of another piece of geometry?
