I love my job too! I just often wish it involved more art and less IT. :) Although it isn't a job in the game industry, my job does allow me to continue my graduate studies and raise a family in decent sized city. Of course, there is a part of me which wishes I'd really stuck with pursuing a career in the games industry.… -

You don't need to 'fix' any tris at all. Tris are only a problem when the model will be subdivided later on, so for instance when it's the basemesh you're going to use in mudbox.
