I have started refining the elements that were just blocked in. Managed to work on her face, jacket, shorts and reworked her mech arm, since I wasn't feeling the previous one fits her. A few more things left to be finalised and I will start her weapons.
Hey, I have a quick question about alpha blend materials in UE5. If a rendered pixel is 100% opaque, does it incur less processing cost, or does the shader still process all pixels equally since it's using alpha blending? The reason I ask is that I'm trying to optimize an object with a small translucent visor. Would it be…
I went out with a few co-workers for a late lunch break, as we where walking back we (a bunch of pasty white guys) passed a black woman in her late 40's early 50's, who was out doing something about her added lbs. As we got up to her I was talking to another artist about how to add contextually sensitive "ignore backfaces"…
heading up to Philadelphia this weekend with my girlfriend and her 16 month old son to see the body worlds show at the franklyn institute. right after crossing the delaware border we saw a sign for a toll booth 3 dollars, i go to reach for my wallet and was not paying as much attention to the road as i should have been,,…
Biggest things to me are that her neck is a bit too long and her face looks too narrow. I would widen her face a bit and maybe shrink her eyes too. You can always test this is Photoshop with liquify etc. to see if that's where you want to go
Solid so far man. I think you can really push her proportions way further. Her head, feet, hands, pigtails should be WAY bigger in proportion to her body which is tiny. At least if you're trying to stay true to her current game proportions.
I think in the concept her shoulders are a little more broad, and the proportion of her lower leg to her upper leg is off. her knees should be lower. the femur is one of the first bones to start growing and one of the last to stop, making the upper leg longer than the lower leg.
April WIP [Dmitrys Fanart] Disclaimer: I do not have intentions (at least in this forum of course) in sculpting certain private parts Dmitrys would be known to add to females. I honestly decided to do this in my journey to go through trial-and-error and have a cumulative experiential learning in 3D that won’t end up biting…
Hi everyone ! It's my first time here and I think it's the best place to share and have some critiques about my work. I just finished a project and even if I'm still learning, I feel I need some feedbacks and what I can do to improve in rendering since it's one of my weakness. The goal was to create a character that would…
your models coming along well, you may wanna rework the gem on her forehead though, maybe make it a bit wider and have it a closer colour to her eyes, also the edge of her boots could be maybe doubled in size, in the concept art it's notably thicker then the edges around her coat
