All I did was, Sobered up the eyes which looked like she was in a shock, adjusted the eye lids and reduced the size of it, narrowed up the forehead and made the side bones of it, repainted the lips and adjusted them so they would look more legit. I really like it, but I have to agree, it does not look huge. I think at least a small part of that is your edge treatment. It looks worn off like - yeah... something the size of a human. Wear and tear on large objects looks different. Look at huge planes and buildings. I guess its more about rain draining down the sides… -

One of the geometries is this. If I will make a fully tileable piece I have to do the UV as you see down here, with the edges touching the square. So i can make multiple copies on the right/left of my object and I won't see any seam. But when it comes to adjust my UV size to make it 128 px/m it shrinks down as you see.… -

To use a different texture set on the head, usually there's no need to detach. Detached heads can be used to allow swapping them for character customization.
