It's probable. Did you think it would be free forever? I'm more curious about whether or not sculptris dev will continue or if he'll just get integrated into the zbrush team and the sculptris project will be left to rot.
Roadkill UV and Sculptri's are two free (and lightweight) programs that can import and export objs. If either of those along with Blender can't open the OBJ correctly, I'm guessing there's a problem with the obj itself.

Thank you so much guys!I apreciate your coments, everything is welcome. _DeadPixel_ is true i have to make it loose and more natural. I will study Gian Lorenzo Bernini and classical sculpture to improve. Thanks!!
Edit: Okay, never mind since reading the rules again I saw it said it needs to be set too public so I changed it real quick. At least frosted ultra detail says its thickness is okay. Hello, well this is my entry for the contest. I'm still a beginner, so I thought maybe this would be good practice, plus I really like Dota…
Don't bother with Autodesk if you don't have the money. There are free options. Blender 3D and Sculptris are probably the best you can find on a $0 budget. You can get Silo for $109 US right now if that's in your price range.
Everyone has nice freebies under their toolbelt and they are great resources for beginners. What are your favorite useful tools? Mine: * SculptGL: https://stephaneginier.com/sculptgl/ * Lithosphere Terrain Generator: http://lithosphere.codeflow.org/ * Magica Voxel: http://ephtracy.github.io/ * MakeHuman:…
Hi. Since you love ponies? Maybe like model ponies? Or do you like sculptured? ahha. SO. If you need a base mesh, just take him for free) http://3dexport.com/3dmodel-my-little-pony-base-mesh-78049.htm
That I kind of find not so true. A good humanoid character artist is pretty rare. Many that haven't taken traditional art figure and sculpture courses can be phenomenal at props like weapons and vehicles and make freaks for characters. Just go over the cgtalk or cghub and look at some of the gallieries.
I think you're off to a good start. Working off of any ref or just free stylin? You might of jumped the gun on some of the finer details without refining some of the bigger shapes but I'm not familiar with Sculptris so it might be an ok workflow. Looking forward to seeing more!
