[ame] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLtTKU2cScA[/ame] Damn this guy is a genius! His works bursts with style, originality and mastery, even though some of them lacks arc polishing and are a bit jerky (due to video game production constraint). I really appreciate hand-keyed work like this! I wish there was sites where…
Hey, this is a ridiculously simple question but I wanted to scale a selection of faces inwards to create the concave shape of the iris of an eyeball. I saw a video (pic 2) and the guy selects the faces, snaps the scale tool to the outer selected vert along the edge and scales inwards to get a nice concave shape. However…
I've always admired game models and finally decided to take the steps to make one! So I started a personal project a few months ago and I have been working on and off to improve it. I am already so proud at how far I've come. However, I feel like my model can be improved. I want to produce a very nice looking real-time…
Draft concept for "Arch Angel", a co-op project I did with two of my colleagues. Each of us will build a concept, 3D model and handpainted texture by ourselves. The art direction for the project will be a little closed to Darksiders visual styles and feel. Currently I'm kind of certain which concept I'm gonna follow but I…

I got a 27" 1440p iiyama for the kids a little while ago at about £250 - it's really not bad at all. Wouldn't call it professional quality but you could do a lot worse for the money. It's worth looking at LG - their consumer level panels are decent - I've had a 27" 4k one for 3-4 years now and it's still holding decent…
Are you using ngSkinTools as well? Even a modest amount of layers gives a hiccup for me, but not several minutes (probably not the case, just mentioning it). I'm not sure if you're aware or if it's important to you, but recent versions of advanced skeleton can swap to a joint-based face rig. IIRC previously there was a…
You haven't made your drops shiny as far as I can see from that image so that won't help. A use a layer that only affects roughness and a separate one for just height. You should really affect specular reflectance too but iirc the basic metal rough Shader doesn't support that. However It won't look right without making use…
Foot Update So this is what I have for the feet so far. i decreased the arc and flattened the heel bulge a bit. Here's a top view. For the first foot iteration I was fallowing a real foot reference. One feedback I got from it was that Nora is a stylized character so I should keep that in mind and change her feet to fit her…
