I seem to remember if you use the "Send To" command it should do it without much hassle. Also make sure you are using the latest FBX plugin for Max 2013: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/pc/item?siteID=123112&id=22694994
Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, I really wanted to post but held off so we could tie up the loose ends. Anway a friend and myself have just started a company developing an MMO in the uk, just the two of us with no plans to expand, check it out here http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123683
I forgot to mention, here's the primary camera pass alpha and the re-edit of the shots without sound or voiceover. Hopefully this will give an idea of what I'm looking for :) https://vimeo.com/121228140 https://vimeo.com/123193138
Added more elements (more to come) and put the wip effect in an environment. Environment is Epic's Epic Citadel map. There is some post process stuff in the map as is, so it may look a little blurry. The save defaults in the options menu should save the defaults for each menu the way you want, but I just tested it out and my defaults are set how I like but they can't be changed, which is weird because my defaults are not standard, which means they carried…
I recommend to learn texturing yourself. It realy not so hard. Use this guide http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=123397498 for example.
You should still be able to export Crosswalk for v6 at http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/item?siteID=123112&id=13525184&linkID=12544121 With Actor X, use the full plugin instead of just Export .ASE, there should be an option for Obeying Hard Edges.
Hey guys, Wow, thank you for all of the feedback. Really honest and straight to the point. That's exactly what I was looking for. I've taken your comments and made some changes already like: - Only including what I consider my best stuff (newest stuff I've worked on) - Taken my demo reel down. Once I get another few strong…
