Why can't you use additional UV channels to achieve this ? With the right shader it would appear in the viewport. standard composite mat, with pow set to map channel 2 (no tiling) and planar map set to channel 2 (pow is just an 32 bit bmp). Though you have to be careful as it would appear on the backside too :)
Not to plug my own stuff but I developed my own glass shader for this same purpose - https://www.artstation.com/artwork/BmkZ14 I have improved and fixed some stuff since posting that so I'll have to get round to updating it. Basically I have written my own forward shader for this and passed in the light properties myself…

The usual suspects are BMT Micro and FastSpring with the new kids on the block being Gumroad and Digital Deliver app. I'm not sure about Gumroad or Digital Delivery app, but the main problem is that BMT Micro and FastSpring will both create expiring download links for your customers, which will in turn leave you with angry…

Hi @lotet and @BM0213 Thank you so much for the suggestions. (The reference chart is very helpful!) I added some highlight spec on the wood and some roughness details, brought down a little bit roughness and metal on the iron area. Started working on the base mesh of the stagecoach :D
