One thing you can do with a gif is download it and open it using quicktime; which you can then frame by frame that animation using the right and left arrow keys. This may still not be ideal as gifs can sometimes be made with less than optimal frame rates.
This fellow went from polys to sub-ds to polys again. My plan is to put him into zbrush next, but I figured I should get some crit before I rush ahead and finish UVing him. Turn-Table 2.94 MB Quicktime He's changed a bit since the turntable, the stills are more current.
why is the thumbnails focused to the upper torso? maybe a note that it opens to quicktime, my two cents on my research of demo sites would be to add jpeg images with your contact information on them. I really like the bridge and the gravestone, your environmental objects are strong.
I like you guys. Just let it all out! Also, what about the quicktime and adobe schedulers? Lovely chaps as well, no? Always come back, despite you telling them to fuck right off. Really makes you feel in charge of your system.
Yeah i also get some strangeness could be from my "scene" but it doesn't show up in application and almost appears as if a key-frame is being added so my animation skips quickly at the start, from moved state back to start state quickly. Just adding notes that might be helpful if they look into it, on their end, .fbx…
I thought that trailer needed some remixing to make it less craptastic. Sorry about the audio, I only had the trailers sounds to work with. http://www.kenconrad.com/donald/grsm2.mov might take a minuet to load, I don't know much about posting quicktimes online.
Hey, I just finished my second normal mapped character and appreciate all harsh criticism, I definetly need to redo her hair but am wondering how else to improve her look. All textures are 1024X1024 and the lowpoly is a little over 6000 polys. quicktime video http://www.mpm7.com/girl.html
Final Update: Just thought I should update these threads now that I'm finishing up the folio. I used a normal map filter on the diffuse, and there's a later version on the model, I haven't updated the texture sheet just yet. View the quicktime turn arounds here: turn arounds
Yeah that is not an issue and it is very easy to get that working with the Maya environment cube node. The problem with that is as the camera moves the environment moves, think quicktime vr style. I want a static ground plane and just some ghetto wrap around environment texture/skybox that from a distance looks 3d.
I was watching Jurassic Park yesterday, and the fat techy guy who uses a Mac is supposedly having a video conversation with a guy on the screen... but the guy on the screen is just a Quicktime movie being played back, you can even see the progress bar along the time slider at the bottom of the video player. Heh.
