I felt skeptical about this movie from the trailer. It looks fun, but definitely rubs off like the "Hatchet" series or "Wrong Turn" movies. Will go with my gf this weekend to check it out though. Hope to have as much fun as all of you did! :D
Just for fun for some years now, unfortunately not as a job, might change that in the future. I'm happy with my current work, it feeds me, but doesn't leave much free time for 3D and other hobbies, though probably working on games would be much more fun.
I wanted to play a bit with Substance Painter, so I decided to model this scifi grenade, based on the concept of juan Novelletto Screenshots taken from substance Painter : Quick render with iRay through Substance Painter : The original concept art from juan novelletto : It was fun to jump into this fantastic tool, really…
UPDATE: Focusing on other practice right now so I won't continue, was fun to work on though and love the other entries! Hey there! I haven't done much 3D character animation but thought this would be the perfect time to jump in, should be fun! I will be using the Peace rig by vinchau95 which can be found here.
I wanted to have a little fun with Kayn, bring his unique mechanics to a story. This is a "Choose Your Own Finale" story. I hope you find it as fun as it was for me to write it. It would be amazing if something like this was done to the oficial Kayn's lore but I know It can be difficult for continuity. I'm Alastart and I…
i've been doing a little side project for fun, consisting in modeling and texturing a scene from an horror PS1 game. Studing how a "demake" works has been tons of fun, and designing this scene also taught me something about composition (since i'm still a student for all of that) P.S. The resolution has been a bit…
Hey there! Longtime lurker here finally posting up some work. Here's my version of Ahsoka Tano from Star Wars! As soon as I heard she might be in The Mandalorian, I knew I had to make a more realistic version of her design from the Rebels show. I hope you like it! In the spirit of #screenshotSaturday, I thought I'd post what I've been working on today. I took a break from my regular work and just geeked out over Yoshitaka Amano and Quina from Final Fantasy 9. I will probably just do a hi-poly of this and stop there, but suggestions and advice is always welcome!
The best way to create and fit a costume is over a human model as you have done. The female model is not very compelling and there are parts that are anatomically incorrect. The first thing to do is get the figure under control. For that you can use a free app like Daz3D as a reference next to the screen you are working…
I am not a huge fan of the the design personally. The front looks like a vacuum cleaner to me and the scope feels out of place for what I would expect the gun to shoot like. Design issues aside I think the texturinng is extremely well done. I like the color and value variation across the surfaces, and I like the edge work…
