First character done as part of my uni assessment this was something I was very proud of last year looking back on it I see so much wrong I'd love feedback on what you think about it and any feedback for improvement is always welcome I'd love to better myself. The following images are a walk through of my process working…
Ever since the first Assassin's Creed was launched in 2007, I've been a fan of the series. I've always thought about making a fan fiction cinematic trailer of my own for it just for fun. This contest gives me the perfect opportunity to finally take a shot. I'll be producing the animation action shots and scenes in iclone.…
Hah, I read Ambershee's profile, mercenary technical designer lol That's what I do/did for a few years with the exact same setup; working as a freelance consultant in-house for studios. I made more money that way than I ever could have being a staff employee. It started because I am not a big fan of specialization. I like…
It's really not that big of a deal. Takes about 5 seconds to clone>invert normals. Just do it before rigging and 'push' the verts out a bit so they aren't in exact same space (or you'll get clipping most likely) If you use 'double sided' on a material, it just recreates those polys automatically, it doesn't save anything…
Without seeing the references you're using for the face it's hard to say, but based on this character, the eyes also seem too big, and the brow ridge isn't big enough. This character has a fairly pronounced brow ridge. That's something that will help make a character look more intimidating, at the moment yours looks…
Super messy posting, but it's getting late where I am! Did a big overhaul of the hair because the first few passes weren't working for me. It's not perfect, but it's as good as it's going to get from me at the moment. I think I need to darken the eye shadowing around her eyeball, it's still feeling too wide to me at the…

Hey everyone, I'm a games animator currently working at Studio Gobo, UK. I'm new to Polycount and this is my first animation contest. I play League and am a big fan of their animation work. I look forward to this experience. I'm currently brainstorming ideas and looking for rigs - updates to come soon. Nice to meet you all…
Looking for an Artist Partner for a Survival RPG (3D/UI/Sound) – Revenue Sharing I am looking for an artist partner for my open-world survival RPG project. I have been developing this game alone for a long time, but to take it to the next level, I need someone who can completely take over the artistic side. This includes…
The lighting is quite dull. Most of the time why environments don't look right despite the fact that models and textures are good is because of lighting. It's one of the harder parts of getting a scene to look good. For now, think about what sort of lighting can help bring the scene out more. I tried a very rough example…
