Adam, it indeed would be nice. The unreal engine 2 had a runtime demo which included the editor. And all the features of the editor was working like it should. It was free to use for non-commercial projects, tho the removed it for some reason. I still do have it installed on my older machine. I'd love to see the same thing…
We have a problem with last version 1.3. We use Quixel with UnrealEngine4. When we tried a texturing in 1.3, and changing the scale makes the albedo texture disappear. It's only failed on UE4 and UE4(Optimized)calibration settings. PBR works fine. One picture:
"Is it best to have seperate meshes for windows, or selecting faces and extrude? Im going to apply glassmaterials from UnrealEngine." Everything could stand in one big static mesh and you could use appropriate color chanels for the glassmaterial in the UnrealEngine i believe.

You can do this real time rendering with camera in marmoset too, with the…

Hey KKVALENTIN, No real idea of how to break in into the industry as a vfx artist, I started of as a 3D artist. My general advice is to start with pick an engine and learning the basics of several fields. I'm biased but I would (as you seem to have done) start with the Unreal Engine. Download the Unreal Tournament version…
