We need people who can model creatures and equipment, as well as animate. The only option for payment is an even share of sales. Contact me at avm0121@hotmail.com if…
Hello! I'm a freelancer looking for part/full time work. Have over 5 years experience in Zbrush, Maya, Substance Painter and Marmoset. Over a decade in photoshop. I specialize in stylized character, creature and prop creation. I will leave a link to my portfolio below. Feel free to reach out with the method of your choice…
The bat wings just don't work. Aside from the fact that it's changed from a 4-limbed creature to a 6-limbed one, you need to remember that a bat's wings are (essentially) modified arms & hands. While bat eyes can be small, they are there; no bats are really blind. The legs seem to have an extra joint.
I can do characters, creatures and vehicles but Im not amazing at concepting so I would really like to team up with someone that can provide awesome conceptart thats doable in a reasonble amount of time. I can pass on the xb1/ps4 and I already got the Quixel suite. Im in it for the glory :)
I love these, especially the tongue monster. Only critique I have is that they all look pretty monotone when it comes to color design. You should add more decals/patterns(mönster)/spots etc as well as more color variations on your creatures. Great work none the less, keep on posting!
I think right your biggest weak point I see is that all your characters feel the same. They're all rubbery in body shape. Change it up a bit, get out of your comfort zone. Instead of another snail or snake like creature do something with a lot of musculature and limbs.
dialate would be the creature that cpt swing is refering too, I use it a fair bit at work. Beyond that if the object compliments it thene there is no problem with going rectangular on the maps....512x1024 for instance, which could save on your texture space. edit* aww balls beaten byace-angel...well thems the breaks :D
Thanks to everyone who has been applying. We are now currently focusing our efforts on finding a qualified 3D Character/Creature animator. If you would like to apply for freelance animation work, please send your reel to: justins@zqgameglobal.com Previous knowledge of animating for games expected. Thank you.
2 year necro inbound. My bad. Figured it was funnier than to just start fresh. Graduating soon and also starting to get back into drawing/digital painting so I'll be updating more than once every two years. Starting off with a creature, a Licker from the Resident Evil series.
I guess I've been neglecting the texturing phase a bit, I'll definitely put more effort in polishing from now on. I'll probably remake my portfolio, with a focus on creatures\characters and perhaps give it a sci fi theme to make consistent. Thank you guys so much for the amazing feedback!
