The highpoly mesh doesn't have to be unwrapped. It does have to fill the same space that the lowpoly mesh does and be the same size, as there is no way to align or resize the 2 meshes in zbrush.
they did a do-over some time ago, where they moved over from handpainted "crazybumped" units, to actual highpoly model baked content. hence left & right.
Hey everyone, anyone knows how to fix that? I remeshed my highpoly with InstantMeshes and get this weird wireframe on my bake, also i tried to do the same with decimated mesh from zbrush, same result.
Modeled in 3DsMax, baked using highpoly to lowpoly in substance, shaded in Substance Painter, and rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 3. Please let me know what you think. Artstation: artstation.com/tylerschutte
Hey guys, For a school assignment I had to Model a handgun and bake that from Highpoly to Lowpoly. As I am still learning and this is my second shot at the baking process, I'd love to have some critique on my work.
Hey guys! I wanted to make a Gundam model for quite some while and finally got a highpoly of the Grimgerde. Texturing and further details will be added to a realtime version later. And - as always: hope you like it : ) https://youtu.be/v0uFBRderpc
School Assignment. Create a highpoly in one week. I made a knight. Please don't start by telling me I should roughen him up, the helmet is way cleaner than it should, but I ran out of time.
