Relax Pro is a modifier for 3ds Max that smooths meshes while preserving their volume unlike the standard Relax which shrinks them a lot. You can set it to slide vertices over the surface so no volume loss happens. Get it from https://mariussilaghi.com/products/relax-pro https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKXZyLFVols
Hi! Blender 2.8 stable. Win 10 Liquid inside a glass is throwing strange artifacts. Its an Evee render with a standard HDRI. Deleted the bottle but the problem remained. Increading the geometry vertically also had little effect besides raising and lowering the artifact. Any ideas appreciated. Cheers
Hi, As much fun as it is pushing vertices around to conform your low poly mesh to high poly, sometimes I find myself missing for a tool that would do it for me. Any suggestions? I found this and it looks pretty promising based on the web page - and reasonably priced too - any experiences using it? Alternatives? Thanks!
Hello, I was wondering how in Max I would select two or more vertices and snap them together so they are perfectly centered and aligned with the rest of the model. If you need help to understand what I am talking about, let me know and I will make it a bit clearer. Thanks in advance, guys.
Hi, I'm not sure how to resolve this error. Can anyone explain to me what's happening here? When I move the right shoulder, the left side moves at the same time... I am editing smooth skins property in the component editor selecting vertices and changing smooth skin values...
Let's say I have a really long wall that will use a tiled texture. If I put the whole thing in the 0-1 space, it's TINY. Does this matter? Any considerations? Should it instead try to ill the 0-1 space vertically, then run outside of it horizontally? Thanks!
in 3dsmax .... Hello I have a small problem with a rigged model , when I select the vertices inthe edit poly under the skin modifier it steps the whole model of a few cms down while when I get out of the object edition it reverts back into position , how can I fix this step ?
Hi guys, I'm new in Maya and I was wondering if there was a way to paint skin weight even on vertices that is not facing the camera. By default it seems like it there's a backface mask on and I can't find a way to disable it. I got a thin piece of cloth to skin, and it's a bit of a pain right now. Thanks a lot !
Hello I have a small problem with a soft selection modifier in the rollout of a polygon model , When I select a vertice and I go to regulate the falloff I can only go in steps of 1 cm or above but can't go decimal or under 1 how can I fix that ?
if stretching doesn't matter at all and each strip has the same face count, use a space vert horz even process. you could probably mitigate distortion afterwards, by selecting the strips vertically and then pulling them back all at the same time, stepping up/down with a grow/shrink select.
