max 2012 uv pelt vs peel?
Whats the difference, It looks like pelt "relaxes" (haha) the uvs more. However what concerns me is how this will effect texturing. In other words which option would be better for hand painted textures? -

3DS MAX 2016 - Edge Bridge Problem
Hello, I'm having this problem when I connect those edges and a weird polygon is created. Backface culling is on so you can see that the normals are fine. What is it and how can I fix it? :( -

In 2019 (and perhaps 2018) you can do that via an OSL UVW transform node (when using an OSL bitmap node). -

I confirm that this is a known bug introduced in maya 2017 update 4. It has been solved in maya 2018 update 1. -

Is Arnold really that much better for this stuff than MR? 2015 doesn't have it but I can upgrade to 2018 if it's worth the hassle. -

works very well even for Maya 2017 update 3 as of now replying here. Hope will work even in 2018 maybe
