Yeah, I totally know what you mean. The thing is though, that all the hair-planes sharing 3 hair strands in the texture in total. That'd mean, if I added some shadow to it, all the planes would have the same shading and that'd look totally weird. I guess, I'll have to paint some shadows in the hair in the final render.
