I love seeing people bash the CoD and Battlefield series (especially people who are not in the industry but are trying to get in) when if they were offered a job at DICE or IW they would instantly be down on their knees groveling with their potential… -

Nice! Yeah, those were formative years for me as well. I jumped onto Polycount sometime around 2001/2002. We were all dealing with normal mapping, trying to handle skin with blue-colored specular maps, and learning about subdivision surface modeling. Heady days! -

I would personally let them have their breakdown first and tell later on tell them "why the hell they cannot find a job in the industry" this way you can be as truthfull as you want with your critique, and they will hear you. You can then tell them about their strengths and.weaknesses. Otherwise you are wasting your time… -

Thanks sltrOlsson :) I made a lighter version of the bell, as well as a darker. I like the way the dark bell look on its own, but as a whole, I think the lighter value works better with the handle.. not too sure though. -
