Stopping power on disc brakes is mostly governed by how much heat buildup the brakes get. This is mostly from the size of the disc and not the caliper - although under extremely heavy use you can look at bigger calipers. I run 160mm discs on my mountainbike and they work fine for all except the most extreme descents. The…
does anyone know how i could make use of all the uv grid without wasting unnecessary amount while keeping the checkers square enough????? everytime i do it always goes rectangular??
I was wondering if it was possible to rotate a static mesh in UDK by a user defined amount(like in max). I'm looking to rotate around a central pivot at 30 degree increments, any ideas if this is possible? thanks
Day 17 I felt that I was fighting this sculpt with all the fatty tissue but at the end I think it´s better than the previous faces with this amount of fat.
@Pav3d so with 14 UDIMS, are you gonna render that in Marmoset or in Engine? I have heard that Marmoset runs into a max amount of textures that you can use
You could simply paint in the ropes in to the texture? That would probably work best at this amount of polies. I'm assuming that this is the actual model detail btw, and not just a block-in.
This is amazing. The textures are PERFECT! Right amount of dirt and wear, perfect spec. Wish it was more low poly, but hey, you learn from your mistakes :P
Avatar was incredible for the amount of detail on show. Also my jaw was on the floor for alot of the 2nd transformers movie. The part where everything was joining together was just crazy
was trying to create this with regular particles, but the amount of particles i have to spawn would be overkill. Realy wondering how you are doing this and what impact it has on performance!
