This character is 4500 polys w/o the handguns, 5100 with the guns. 1 1024x1024 texture map. I want to import it into source engine and see how it looks under the real time environment however I'm not too familiar with source engine so if anyone knows any tutorials please let me know. Any C&C will be greatly appreciated.…
Hi guys could someone help me with those problem? when I adding texture in my case and trying scale it down I lose all detail. I trying use most of techniq for resize but nothing good what it good workflow for it if you use traditional textruing with Photoshop w/o Substance Mudbox etc
Looks Awesome SO Far Continue But can you do one with the W ( The spheres and the 3 orbs ) and one without or is it too much hassle ? Also one thing Kinda like this ROTATE THE WEAPON into that(I know its a shitty editing but i hope you get the point)
Great start, really like the concept you chose. I agree with Alec, I'm really missing the painted wood. I assume CE3's shaders work similar to UDK, so you could probably just add in color to the wood with a multiply node or w/e.
Looks pretty nice! I'm working on a nearly identical S&W .357 right now and thought I would look around online to see what other people have made. How many tris are you at? Any chance we could see the wireframe/textures?
Yes please. Also, perhaps add a checkbox to AO generation in nDo that makes it output a black/white AO instead of a coloured one? I mean, it's not a lot of work to add a B/W adjustment layer myself, it's just tedious when nDo should be able to do that for me. :)
Hello Jimmy, I might like a little attention W$563 but I recommend our plugin that we released not so llong ago. It's perfect to preview game assets and render them in various quality settings: picoMayaPlugin Check the texturing tutorial to get what you want.
If you paint normally (regular paint layer/fill layer w a mask), does it have that effect? If so - seems painter is looking at the wrong uv channel if you've got multiple set up. If its normal looking, then it most likely is some bad baked maps plugged into the smart materials channels/parameters
I hope so. Photoshop would be a cool option over gimp. Though I fear it will hurt the gimp effort. I don't think I'd want to use it on a netbook though. And I agree w/ the article. Netbook makers have lost touch with their original price point, but I guess the market drives it.
Try the white one with a gray color i think in zbrush i forget the name exactly. Upper eyebrow bridge, and cheek definition could be added.
