Hey all, I recently used zbrush polypaint to texture my model and want to export the obj with the texture information. However i used a few layers whilst polypainting and now when i export the model the texture becomes extremely messed up and unrecognizable. Any ideas how to export the obj with the correct polypaint? what version of maya are you using, the exporter source provides wont work on 2011 or 2012 and i think not even 2010. there is a community made script around too, but it is also shit. even know maya is my main package, when it comes to source i pretty much always just export to 3ds Max or Blender to do the smd export.…
hi! By default when exporting the bumpmap is baked in to the normal, but if you want a separate bumpmap select it in ddo, open exporter, chose "uncalibrated" from the export menu and ctrl+click export! :)
