Hey guys,
Absolutely loving the baker in Marmoset3. It finally replaced Xnormal as my primary baking tool after years of trying out various others. I have a couple of minor issues with the way it currently exports albedo, spec and gloss maps to PSD at the moment, however.
Currently, all maps are exported with a layer mask. This is ok, but it would be much more useful to export as a masked layer group, possibly with a solid colour layer inside it for easy tweaking, rather than just being filled with a colour. I'm almost never going to just use the flat colour version as is, so there's a fair bit of setup involved in making the layer groups manually myself.
Secondly, it seems that it exports textures that I would expect to be sRGB (albedo, specular) as linear . This involves another manual pass to gamma correct them. If there's already a way to avoid this happening, I can't find it anywhere.
Cheers,
-Nick
