Great start! the hardest part for me is always the general blocking XD one critique I'd add is that to me the tube components seem to be inset into the gun, if that makes sense. sort of recessed. Overall looking great, keep up the good work!
I have the sr-80s. Good headphones. The pads on mine are aren't so rounded. The profile looks more like a flat cylinder with a chamfer. Also you need to do a quick inset/hole in the center of the pad so its not covering the can.
1. look up snaps. angle snap is what you want. you should be able to bind the toggle to a hotkey or i think it's an icon in the default interface 2. make your own (customize->customize user interface->keyboard->Inset (Poly)
further developments and analysis too , changed material as its kinda hard to see the shading properly in the red wax material, C & C welcome Bit of work around the ears to be made and trying to inset the bridge of the nose a bit further too :D
It's one plate, the inset areas are tiled, the metal trim bits and bumpy parts are unique, baked off a flat plate and laid out so I can recycle it later. Thanks for the crits, I'll put some larger wear on it, especially on the bend.
Sadly I don't think I understand where you want me to put those edges. I made another picture to show the problem: It is all quads except for a few ngons (cylinder caps and the inside of the insets) but they shouldn't be affecting much.
Inset the cut first then do a bevel that was you already have the supporting edge. Like gazu said add more loops leading up the the cut since the hole is probably not even with the stock You should probably move this thread to technical talk
Hello, Crits and Comments are welcome in this thread This is a good place to dump some of the Zbrush/Mudbox quick-sculpt sketches I've been doing over the last couple of months... These were two quick sculpts I did in Zbrush3, about 2 hours each, from the low poly base mesh. Pictured inset.....
Has it been done this way ? I know the meshtools scripts from Laszlo Sebo, but it does more like an inset. It still needs do be tweaked manually. So far, the connect method is still the fastest. The bottom cube is a bit nonsense, but it would be this tool behavior i guess. Cheers !
Yes small artifacts like that are normal (no pun intended) when having hard edges like that. It's due to the fact that a hard edge is in essence splitting that edge. The only thing I would look at changing on the highpoly is that inset edge that runs the perimeter of the blue piece. That inset is super sharp resulting in…
