3Daily - Eric Thomas Studios
Actually on day 402 of doing daily 3D practice, but I'm happy to have a place to post them as I go! Starting off with a project I just wrapped up today. Will be doing renders, but a speedart video showing the modeling / texturing process, which is what the animation is for, will hopefully be up by Friday. -

VelvetElvis is spot on. Even in a recent poll on polycount, there were 38% Max users and 33% Maya Users (of 342 votes). I could possibly see Autodesk advertising Maya as the goto tool for Games & Film in the future. But again that's only a relatively small slice of the cake. -

Wow that's pretty impressive. So why is the price difference so major between the two types? On Amazon it's listed as $472 and $279, a $193 difference for just one inch? Or is there something else I'm missing? Cause otherwise the 23" one goes on my buy-list. -

Im experiencing something very weird, models looks completely black, no matter what i do, If i add a light, the model looks like if it was using Vertex normal colours or something like that. Im using 11.08 OpenGL 4.2 preview drivers from AMD. -
