When modular design goes wrong
I'm looking for some games that show us how NOT to use modular design. I need it for my presentation and nothing comes to my mind. Important note: it must be a in-game example not a random guy's work on forum or sth. Also it shouldn't be older than 10 years - preferable the new ones. -

Weird issue when trying to chamfer edges
Hi, I got a strange problem when I try to chamfer some edges in 3D Studio Max. I got a logo I made in Illustrator, exported as 8th version .ai and then imported in Max. There I applied a shell modifier and then tried to chamfer the edges. Doing that I get this: What am I missing ?! -
marvelous designer vs marvelous designer for steam
Hello Polycounters! I have decided to buy a license of marvelous designer, but then i found that steam had marvelous designer at 3/5ths of the price, with the added "for steam" at the end. anyone know what this may entail? or does anyone have any noteworthy experiences with buying from a 3rd party retailers? thank you… -

Hey there,ill be headed out to London/England for the first time from oct 1st-5th. Would love any and all suggestions for cool stuff to do. The price tag is great. What you on about? If it gets as solid as photoshop for painting (i haven't tried it yet so I don't know how it compares) it's like 1/8th of the price here in Sweden. You can still download the trial to play around with. -

Yeah ived tryed all the option available and reinstalled ithe drivers many times and its still doing it! I think that its maybe caused by my screen ration (16:10) and the software. Its stange because its only doing this in mudbox and photoshop! -

Whatever. I mumbled my way through/said nothing during the Pledge of Allegiance from Kindergarten through 8th grade (no Pledge in high school). Maybe if I had told the teachers to jump off a bridge I could be an anti-authoritarian hero too! -

in the main screen I spawned a teleporter and it warped me to the 5th cell offices so I decided to try placing a nuke with a time bomb next to it. Unfortunately one of the devs must be overly curious and he activated the nuke before I could get away.
