So I'm making a weapon for the character Sven for the DOTA 2 workshop, and I can't figure out which direction to take in the design. I made the initial high poly for the weapon, but got some suggestions to tweak the top and the handle, so I redesigned it a bit.
I have begun creating an MP9 skin for the workshop competition. Personally, I enjoy using the MP9 and feel it does not have enough good skins so I hope my entry is considered for use in the game. Though it doesn't seem so likely right now...

Check out Ryan Benno at https://gumroad.com/l/NbxcJ He runs a monthly mentorship for $200 I think. He also runs a discord channel which you can join whether or not you are taking his workshop.
Seamless Workshop might work for you. I found the blending too soft and artificial, but hey it's free. http://www.redfieldplugins.com/filterSeamlessWorkshop.htm Seamless Texture Generator isn't free but it's affordable ($35 USD) and does a better job http://www.seamlesstexturegenerator.com/
