Re: Weird edges when using decimated model as high poly for baking
you could PBR render to preview with smooth normals. but honestly for the best quality possible, just do not decimate. unless the meshes are ridiculously dense i would just bake with the highest geo possible, cuts out any errors that might come from decimation. -

How do I create character textures like this?
How would I got about texturing low poly models like this?: Everything in one diffuse map, so no PBR workflow. Yes that is true but with out pbr you are fakeing most things. Just expirment make the prop and shader place it in the scene, and tweak. -

I think LOL only used diffuse maps, but Dota 2 uses most of the new fancy stuff, even PBR. -
