Yeah.. 2017 problem doesn't happen for everybody. Our studio had to move to 2017 from 2016 because of some important fixes(TrackView, Obj poly export) and enhancement(alembic and python). 3ds Max 2017 corrupting files non-stop
I can't stand 3ds Max 2017 anymore: it crashes randomly with the most stupid thing (using edge restriction to move a vertex, changing selection mode, deleting edge loops...), sometimes it closes without any notification, keeps alive the proccess 3dsmax.exe after having closed the program or explodes when using the relax UV… -
Any worthwhile GoZ alternative for Maya 2017
Hey I've been using Maya 2017 for the last couple months or so and usually what I've been doing is just going down to Maya 2016 in order to use GoZ with Zbrush. Is there an alternative method using only Maya 2017? Should I just use Maya 2016 until something fabulous happens in 2017? I'm just trying to get an idea here… -

If you are using a recent version of Max, 2016+EXT or 2017, you can use Animation Presets. http://help.autodesk.com/view/3DSMAX/2017/ENU/?guid=GUID-308209EF-063B-4117-975F-75B9CCD2BC25 Note: I had a long pause of about 15 seconds after applying the preset. I edited that out of the GIF to keep the file size down. -
Maya Human IK Skeleton tab?
