Any worthwhile GoZ alternative for Maya 2017

Hey I've been using Maya 2017 for the last couple months or so and usually what I've been doing is just going down to Maya 2016 in order to use GoZ with Zbrush. 
Is there an alternative method using only Maya 2017?
Should I just use Maya 2016 until something fabulous happens in 2017?
I'm just trying to get an idea here since I know a lot of people prefer different versions and what not. Let me know what you think and thank you for the help.

They fixed GoZ with 4R8 so it will work with 2017 now. Update your Zbrush and re-install GoZ.

A good alternative(for me) is exporting and importing obj or fbx files manually.
